With over 60 years combined experience, Directors, Bob Spicer and Tom Hamer, together with the team at Fleetweld provide a unique offering to the Truck and Trailer service industry.
Bob has 30 years experience in the Coach and Vehicle Building industry, with 15 years in hands-on work and more than 15 years in design, sales and management. With extensive industry connections and knowledge of product, pricing, design (and of course the all important legislative requirements), Bob is able to provide detailed written quotes, sourcing the best materials and products at the best prices, to meet all of your specialist needs.
Tom has been in the Truck and Trailer industry for over 30 years, specialising in Paint, Signage and Advertising for truck bodies.
Recognising a gap in the industry from other service providers, Fleetweld offers a total solution, providing state-of-the-art design, building and finishing facilities for every client need.
Established in 2005, Fleetweld moved to its current premises in the Remington Industrial Estate, in Dandenong South, close to the Monash Freeway, in 2008. With a massive 1400sq metre space, the factory also boasts two, 5 tonne over-head cranes and a spray booth with 2400sq metres of hard stand.
Fleetweld offers its clients the ability to work on their vehicles from the ground up. Providing a one-stop-shop, clients are able to utilise the talents of Bob and his team to design their vehicles using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor 3D Modelling software. These industry standard design applications provide a highly detailed map and visualisation for construction and include any additional equipment you may require.
Our speciality bodies and trailers can be custom-designed and manufactured and include any number of expert fittings from cranes, winches and tailgate loaders, to water tank and spraying, and hydraulic apparatus. We work very closely with our suppliers to give you the right equipment for the job and usually fit all the extras in-house.
Fleetweld has developed a strong reputation for presenting clients with the best solutions, on time and on budget. We feel our work speaks for itself and you can see a good selection of it across the website, however we have a vast database of plans and photos, demonstrating the diverse range of bodies we have built since our doors opened in 2005, which we are happy to share with you by appointment.
Our factory operates between 7.30am and 4pm Monday – Friday, although we often run extended hours to best meet client needs.
You can contact our Administrator, Kathy Spicer, between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
